Feature Friday: Interview with Karyn Quick

Karyn, can you start by telling us about yourself and company? I am an IT Director, Career Strategist, 2X Bestselling Author and Founder of a unique system called “The Quick 6®”, which provides actionable strategies you can implement quickly to impact all areas of your life.

What motivated and inspired you to start your business? I enjoy helping women regain their confidence, find their voice, or take back their voice so that they can begin to feel empowered to achieve their goals so that they live a life they want and deserve.

How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors? I have a specialized program called “The Quick 6®” where I am highly engaged in helping my clients achieve success through personalized coaching, group coaching, and pragmatic tools and techniques while holding them accountable to get into action so they actually achieve their goals.

What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs? Stay the course and don't give up. The antidote to despair and distraction is getting in action.

How do you keep motivated through difficult times? Listen to inspirational music, affirm myself, lean on my network of like minded friends and family.

What are you most proud of as a company? Impacting the lives of women globally.

Where do you see your company in the next three years? Expanding to impact more lives and reaching double-digit growth.

What is your favorite professional (business) book and why? My book CUBEONOMICS: How smart women get beyond their cube, build strategic relationships, and boost their brand. It's my story on how I was able to break the glass ceiling and excel in my career and how I have helped others do the same.

What is your favorite quote and why?

"To Whom Much is Given, Much Will Be Required." (Luke 12:48) I believe when you have more you should do more good in the world.

What do you like to do in your spare time? My absolute favorite pastimes are shopping, traveling, and cooking.

What fun unknown factoid could you share that most people may not know? This could be professional or personal. I was on the International Track and Field team in High School and I gold medaled 2 times on my tours.
